This journey continues along through the dramatic Ziz Gorge, passing the ancient holy city of Rissani, where you will find the ruins of
Sijilmasa, a once capital and merchant stopping locale for the ancient caravan routings of the 8th century.
When arrive at Erfoud, a 4×4 vehicle will be waiting for you at Erfoud to continue your adventure by heading towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the largest dunes in the Sahara desert. Witness the sunset from over the desert dunes and
be astounded by the peace and calm as well as the changing colours of the landscape. If you’re up to it you can also ride a camel!
Note: 1. In case of snowing during November and February in High Atlas Mountains, we would drive slower than usual to ensure safety. In this case, you may reach Erfoud later than expected. If snow blocks the road, we will stay in
Midelt for overnight, and head further south the following day.
2. Though mostly clear days, winds are unpredictable in desert area. And even luxurious tents are not totally sands proof in windy days. If you would like to return to Erfoud hotel for overnight, we could arrange it upon availabilities of hotel rooms.
