9 day tour to Discover the heritage of al-Andalus

Andalusian Morocco or The Andalusia of Morocco is that regions of the country that have been influenced by the presence of the Andalous in the north of the Kingdom, the Andalusians Moroccans that were descended from Spanish Muslims who were first forced to convert to Christianity after 1492 and were expelled from the Iberian peninsula in the early seventeenth century. The heritage in North African Countries has provided a dominant history and identity into which the exiled communities could integrate themselves.

This Andalusian Morocco Tour will take you on the steps of the Andalusian civilization, to discover their heritage, learn their history and touch their cultural influence that still persistent up to nowadays.

Some of the highlights of this tour are Tangier Medina, Kasbah of the Udayas, Andalusian Garden of Rabat; the Capital of Morocco, Chefchaouen; the blue city of Morocco, together with the imperial cities of Morocco.

Al-Andalus definition; Al-Andalus or Muslim Spain (both terms will be used interchangeably), with its famous mosques, irrigated gardens, developments in poetry, philosophy, and science, is often referred to as the cultural golden age of Islam.

Al-Andalus History: Muslim kingdom that occupied much of the Iberian Peninsula from 711 CE until the collapse of the Spanish Umayyad dynasty in the early 11th century. The Arabic name Al-Andalus likely refers to the Vandals who occupied the Iberian Peninsula in the 5th century.
