Fez radiates a singular aura. She is the Imperial, the custodian of thirteen centuries of Moroccan history. Fez is rich in a prestigious past and has unexpected surprises in store.
Cross the walls of the famous medina of Fez, distinguished by UNESCO as an outstanding universal value. Take a random stroll through the streets of the Fez-El-Bali district. The Bab Boujloud gate is the easiest access to enter the medina.
In May, the squares and alleys resonate with world music: the World Sacred Music Festival is held in the former imperial capital. It is, with Jazz in Riads, one of the main events in the city’s cultural calendar. Don’t leave without tasting the city’s gastronomy, renowned as one of the best in the world.
Pick up from your hotel in Casablanca at 07:00 am and departure to Fez via the highway.
Upon arrival to Fez around 10h30 am, you’ll be joined by your local guide.
The main aim of this tour is the exploration and the discovery of, medina of Fès el-Bali (Old Fez). Your tour will lead you to the visit of the Medrassa Bou Inania, Nejjarine Fountain; Attarine, My Driss II Mausoleum, Karaouine Mosque (outside visit).
The exploration will start at the Bab Boujlloud Gate. The first monument to visit is the vast Medrassa Bou Inania.
You will have the chance to admire the Tijani zaouïa and the instrument makers' souk before arriving at the mzara of the ancient sovereign Moulay Idriss situated at the place where he took the decision to build the town.
Then you’ll arrive in En-Nejjarine Square and the cabinet makers' souk. The magnificent carved Foundouk on the square houses the Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts. Next to it, you can admire the most visited and revered attraction in Fès: The Moulay Idriss Zaouïa, Your walk continues on to Es-Seffarine Square, the coppersmith square, and then to the tanners' quarter situated just before the Andalusian quarter with its mosque and the Es-Sahrij medersa.

At the end of the afternoon, 5h30 pm: Return transfer to Casablanca, you will be back to your hotel about 9h00 pm.
